Kyrii came into her third birth with clarity and quiet confidence. She knew her body, she knew her goals, and she was determined to have a natural birth, even with the added challenge of an induction. From the start, she carried herself with grace and intention, trusting the process and staying deeply connected to her own rhythm.
Lacrisha joined us for this birth as part of her doula training, and it was a joy to witness her growth and presence in the space. Together, we supported Kyrii through each phase of labor, offering techniques, encouragement, and gentle reminders to stay grounded. Kyrii responded beautifully, open to guidance, but always in tune with what felt right for her.
Inductions can be intense, but Kyrii moved through it with remarkable ease. She breathed through contractions, shifted positions, and stayed emotionally present. Just before pushing, she was sitting upright, smiling—radiating a kind of peace that filled the room. Her birth was natural, just as she had hoped, and her body carried her through with wisdom and resilience.
After delivery, we had a special moment that added even more joy to the experience. I asked the midwife if we could make a placenta print, a beautiful way to honor the organ that nourished Kyrii’s baby. Her eyes lit up. She had never done one before and was genuinely excited to try it. With my guidance, we created the print together, turning a clinical moment into something artistic and deeply meaningful. It was a celebration of life, connection, and shared learning.
Watching Kyrii birth was witnessing a masterclass in trust, grace, and quiet power. She showed that even within the structure of an induction, birth can be deeply physiological, intuitive, and beautiful. This was another amazing example of the benefits of having two of us at your birth. We are so happy for you and your beautiful family.
