tiara's STORY

Tiara entered her second birth with clarity and confidence. She knew what she wanted: a natural birth, free of interventions, where she could trust her body and feel supported every step of the way. From the beginning, she prepared intentionally, learning how to tune into her instincts and embrace the process.

When labor began, my lead doula, Lacrisha, was the first to arrive, as I was celebrating my children’s birthday party. Tiara welcomed her with calm and trust, and the two quickly settled into a rhythm. About two hours later, I joined them, and together we formed a circle of support around Tiara. Two doulas, one powerful mother, and a birth unfolding beautifully.

Throughout labor, Tiara leaned into the guidance we had practiced together. She used breathwork to stay grounded, changed positions to help her baby descend, and embraced movement to stay in flow with her body’s cues. When things intensified, she didn’t resist; she listened. She trusted the reminders we gave her: to soften her jaw, to release tension, to let the contractions do their work. She was so receptive, so in tune, and so incredibly strong.

Her birth unfolded naturally, just as she had envisioned. No interventions. No tears. Just a smooth, physiological birth that honored her wishes and her wisdom.

When her baby arrived, we discovered something extraordinary: the umbilical cord had a true knot. A rare and potentially dangerous occurrence, but Tiara’s body had navigated it all with stunning precision. Her baby was healthy, her birth was seamless, and her resilience was undeniable.  

Tiara handled everything with grace. She was strong, intuitive, and present. Watching her move through labor was witnessing power in its purest form. This birth wasn’t just natural; it was triumphant.
